Welcoming Torri Cole

Our fantastic team of dance faculty keeps growing! We are so delighted toas the latest addition to our dance faculty!

Torri has been dancing for 24 years. Her journey began in her small hometown of Frazier Park, California with The Dance Studio. There she studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and pointe. She worked her way from a young student to an assistant teacher and finally to a teacher of ballet, tap, and jazz. Torri’s dance journey next took her to Eugene, Oregon where she attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Modern Dance. During her time at the UO she was able to participate in faculty and student dance concerts. Post-graduation Torri was able to dive right into teaching with All That Dance Company in Eugene Oregon. Teaching all ages the fundamentals of ballet she re-discovered her passion for teaching. Her marriage to a member of the United States Air Force, Brandon Cole, led her dance journey to Sumter, South Carolina where she spent 3 years teaching Company Ballet for Miss Libby’s School of Dance and Gymnastics. Torri’s love for teaching continues here in Grand Forks where she is extremely excited and eager to teach, inspire, and share her passion of dance with the North Dakota Ballet Company.
